Ward started his career with The Shopping Center Group where he was fortunate to work with many national retailers early on in his career. He has participated in transactions with a wide range of retailers such as Starbucks, AT&T, Panda Express, Wendy's, Sears Outlet, Cycle Gear, and Games Workshop.
Following The Shopping Center Group, Ward joined the SRS Real Estate Partners Birmingham office, where his focus on tenant rep work slowly transitioned to a more development heavy work load.
Ward is a graduate of Auburn University and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He supports local charities like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, sits on the junior board of Trinity Counseling and is a member of the executive committee for the Alabama Policy Institute/
